Questions about UMO - the Instruction Manager-Online

Registration at UMO is always free. You can use our product for up to 10 users and 5 created instructions permanently free of charge. You only incur costs once you saved more than 10 users or 5 instructions.

When you register, your own domain with all the associated options will be created for you.

After successful registration, you can immediately use the system to its full extent.

We charge you for each user created (from the 11th user) and for each created instruction (from the 6th instruction).

Both your number of users created and your number of instructions can vary each month. With monthly invoicing, we only take into account the number of users and instructions you saved in the past month. That means, you don't have to pay in advance and you only pay for the actual use of UMO.

No, you can create as many locations, departments, divisions, users and instructions with the business plan as you need. There is no restriction.

You can use instruction types and employee types to assign employees. You can define the different types yourself.

Yes, you can also schedule the preventive occupational medical care with UMO. Create a group with little effort and assign the relevant employees to this group in the system.

For example, create a preventive medical checkup “G 25” (driving, operating, and monitoring activities) and link it to the associated employee group. You will then be automatically notified by the system that a checkup is due shortly. This gives you enough time to arrange everything with the company physician and the employees.

With UMO, you can display instruction dates for each user or for locations, departments and divisions. Appointment tracking is supported by a practical traffic light color scheme. You also have the option of monitoring dates by instruction name.

Questions about the legal basis

Ja, die elektronische Dokumentation mit UMO – dem Unterweisungsmanager-Online entspricht den gesetzlichen Vorgaben. Die DGUV Vorschrift 1 sowie das Arbeitsschutzgesetz verlangen keinen handschriftlich unterzeichneten Unterweisungsnachweis.

Die elektronischen Zertifikate (Unterweisungsnachweise) von UMO – dem Unterweisungsmanager-Online halten deshalb alle Vorgaben ein und ermöglichen eine papierlose Dokumentation.

You can cancel monthly. No written notice of termination is required. If you want to end your contract, it is sufficient to delete the registered client. Please note that you can request your stored data from the system before cancellation. After the deletion process, all data connected to your client will also be deleted. Data centers in Europe are subject to the strictest data protection guidelines. They have numerous certifications (ISO/IEC 27001, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 9001) and are no component of the US CLOUD Act.

Hält sich ein Arbeitgeber nicht an die Unterweisungspflicht können ihm Bußgelder, Schadenersatzforderungen und sogar Haftstrafen drohen.

Allein schon wenn die Unterweisungen die laut Unfallverhütungsvorschrift vorgegeben sind, nicht stattfinden bzw. nicht dokumentiert (!) sind, kann das mit einem Bußgeld von mehreren 1000 € belegt werden. Dabei muss nicht einmal ein Unfall passiert oder eine Person zu Schaden gekommen sein.
Wenn es aufgrund unterlassener Unterweisungen zu einem Arbeitsunfall kommt, sind die strafrechtlichen Tatbestände Körperverletzung und Tötung von Bedeutung. Dem Arbeitgeber droht eine Freiheitsstrafe bis zu 5 Jahren oder eine Geldstrafe, bei Vorsatz sogar eine Freiheitsstrafe nicht unter 5 Jahren.
Im Zivilrecht I ist geregelt, dass bei einem Arbeitsunfall zunächst die gesetzliche Unfallversicherung (Berufsgenossenschaft oder Unfallkasse) greift. Sie tritt für die Beseitigung und Entschädigung der unfallbedingten Körperschäden und deren Folgen ein. Das Haftungsprivileg besagt, dass der Verletzte keine Schadenersatzansprüche gegen den Arbeitgeber hat. Erfüllt der Arbeitgeber jedoch nicht seine Unterweisungspflicht und verursacht er dadurch grob fahrlässig einen Arbeitsunfall, kann die Berufsgenossenschaft laut SGB VII §110 Abs.1 Regressforderungen geltend machen. Der Arbeitgeber muss in diesem Fall die erbrachten Leistungen der Berufsgenossenschaft teilweise oder komplett ersetzen.

Der Unterweisungsmanager-Online ist eine webbasierte Anwendung und kann auf jedem internetfähigen Gerät mit einem beliebigen Browser (Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari etc.) gestartet werden.
